Create a signature brand you love.
(That works as hard as you do!)
All on your own.
(With support.)
No design degree or agency budget required.
If you want a brand that:
looks personal, not like you’re playing corporate dress-up
feels intentional, aesthetic, & cohesive
works across everything you create
is easy for you to work with (as the designer on call)
A brand that feels together.
That feels like you.
And works in real life.
WHOLE BRANDS HELP YOU CREATE EXACTLY THAT.
Whole Brands is a hands-on brand design program for business owners who want a signature brand that feels like home.
One that you can style on your own without spending years learning design, draining your budget, or waiting until you can finally hire it out.
One that finally feels legit and works just as hard as you do.
Pssst. Hey there!
is this you?
You hesitate before posting because you’re not sure your visuals look legit
You spend way too long tweaking designs in Canva
Templates fall apart when you try to make them “yours” and you don’t know how to fix them
You don’t want a stiff, corporate brand — but you do want to be taken seriously
You’re worried your visuals make your business look like a hobby
WHOLE BRANDS WAS MADE FOR ALL OF THIS.
By helping you craft your brand’s design and incorporating the design skills you need to work with it all on your own.
YOU’RE READY to grow.
And that means a brand design upgrade.
You’ve outgrown patchy and scrappy and made on the fly.
but “professional branding” doesn’t feel like the right choice either…
You want your business to feel:
more legit
more intentional
more you
Your message is clear.
Your visibility is growing.
And your business is still evolving.
That’s exactly why professional branding feels… risky.
You don’t want to keep patching and stitching your visuals together
(hello, Frankenbrand).
You also don’t want a “professional” brand that:
→locks you into a stiff, static version of yourself
→polishes away your personality
→makes you feel like a guest performer in your own business
You use templates.
You swap fonts and colors.
You make things work well enough.
But even when it looks okay…
it doesn’t feel legit.
Because it doesn’t really feel like you.
AND it’s hard to design with.
AND you’re not sure if it’s working to connect you to your clients.
So you hesitate to make a move but what other options are there?
If this is you. Keep reading!
THIS ISN’T ABOUT LOOKING “PRETTY”
(It’s about not feeling like an amateur.)
You’re usually designing something simple…
a social post, a sales page, an announcement…
and you stop right before publishing.
Because if it doesn’t look good enough:
people won’t take you seriously
they won’t hire you
or worse — they won’t even see it
So you hesitate.
You tweak.
You compare.
You spend far too much time moving things around, hoping it clicks.
And eventually, the thought creeps in:
“Everyone else seems to get this… why don’t I?”
That’s not a design problem.
That’s a confidence problem caused by never being taught how design works.
DESIGN IS NOT DECOR.
DESIGN IS COMMUNICATION.
(You can quote me on this.)
It’s about:
→ how people read
→ what they notice first
→ what gets ignored
→ what creates clarity vs. friction
If you don’t know what a design is supposed to do, you’ll keep asking the wrong question:
“Does this look good?”
When the better question is:
How is this working?
WHY TEMPLATES & “PRO” BRANDS DON’T FIX THIS
Templates
Templates give you someone else’s logic, and they’re actually built for a very specific context.
So, if you:
Change the content,
change the platform,
or
change anything.
Suddenly it stops working and you’re not sure how to fix it. It was supposed to be the solution.
When this happens, you might assume:
“It’s me. I’m just not visual.”
Professional branding
Agencies can make things look polished.
Then they hand everything back to you.
And at some point, you still have to design something for your brand yourself.
Without understanding how to work with your visuals, even a professionally designed brand becomes something you’re afraid to touch.
The problem with either of these things isn’t your ability.
It’s that business programs don’t teach design skills.
THIS IS WHERE WHOLE BRANDS COMES IN…

WHAT WHOLE BRANDS ACTUALLY DOES
Whole Brands teaches non-designers how to use design as communication.
So they stop feeling like amateurs and start trusting their decisions.
Not by giving you rules.
Not by boxing you into a stiff and frozen identity.
Not by asking you to visualize a perfect brand upfront.
Instead, you learn how to:
see what’s happening in a design
decide intentionally
design with confidence — on your own
THE PROCESS
In case you’re worried…
HERE’S MOST PEOPLE GET WRONG
The brand you’re looking for can’t really be designed for you.
Not because designers aren’t talented —
but because no one else has access to how your brand actually works in use.
They can’t feel:
the moment something clicks
the friction when something looks good but doesn’t quite work
the “this is for me” recognition between you and your people
A design studio can translate a brief.
But they can’t create the kind of visual language that:
evolves as you do
adapts to how you actually communicate
lives inside your day-to-day work
That part has to come from you.
And here’s the important part:
You don’t need to be a designer to do that.
You just need to understand how design works —
and how to use it intentionally.
That’s what Whole Brands teaches.

ABOUT YOUR GUIDE
I’m an artist, non-denominational food lover, DIY entrepreneur, avid traveler, and air guitarist (who will also play air keys if the band needs it).
I’m also a visual thinker in the literal sense.
I see what people say.
It’s a skill I’ve honed over decades that helps me turn words, ideas, and half-formed thoughts into images that actually communicate something.
I graduated from art school nearly 30 years ago, and since then I’ve been the go-to person for friends and peers who needed logos, band t-shirts, CD covers, websites, flyers…anything visual.
I didn’t come to brand design through a corporate agency or a marketing firm.
MY BACKGROUND IS ART.
For me, design has always been about expression and connection not consumer manipulation.
Visuals should feel authentic, not like a sleazy sales tactic wearing a cool suit.
The moment this clicked
Over the last decade, I’ve spent time in all kinds of entrepreneurial spaces, working on projects that had nothing to do with design.
And no matter what I was doing, people kept asking about my visuals.
“How did you make your website look like that?”
“Can you design a logo for me too?”
“What programs do you use?”
At first, I didn’t think much of it. Designing my own stuff felt natural to me.
Then I realized — designing visuals wasn’t natural for everyone.
Business owners weren’t getting any real guidance on how to create visuals that actually worked for them.
Some were hiring designers too early and outgrowing their branding within a year. Others were DIY-ing everything with no framework to help them make decisions.
They weren’t just struggling to keep up with everyday design needs — they were struggling to even start.
That’s when it clicked:
what I had wasn’t just “creativity.”
I had been trained to think visually— and that was something I could teach.
Why I do this work
Even if you can afford to hire a designer, every business owner still has to create visuals on their own at some point.
And for many people, DIY isn’t a stepping stone— it’s a choice.
They want the freedom, flexibility, ROI, and creative control that comes from being able to shape their own brand without relying on someone else for every update.
That’s where my work lives.
I help you understand how your brand works visually so you can design with it confidently, without blank-page panic or constant second-guessing.
(This is also where my Capsule Wardrobe approach comes in — a mix-and-match system that makes designing faster, easier, and far less dramatic.)
I want your visuals to reflect your style.
And I want you to feel equipped to create whatever your business needs— whether you DIY by necessity or by choice.
Because when your brand looks good, you feel good.
And that’s when everything gets easier.
Ready to start?
I’m excited to help you feel confident, cool, and genuinely put-together in your brand.
Together, we’ll take what you’re already saying —
and turn it into visuals that work just as hard as you do.
JOIN WHOLE BRANDS!
WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH:
A brand that’s unmistakably yours, not a template or a trend-following look but a brand that reflects your voice, values, and way of communicating, because you design it from the inside out.
Confidence using your brand because you understand it, you don’t just “have” a brand. You know how it works. Because you built it yourself, you understand its logic and can design with it without second-guessing or fear of breaking it.
Less time designing and visuals that do more for you, Design stops being a time sink. Your visuals start doing real work: guiding attention, supporting your message, and helping people connect so you don’t have to overthink every post or page.
A brand that holds up as you grow, instead of outgrowing your visuals every six months, you leave with a flexible system you can evolve — without starting over or hiring it out.
This is for you if:
⚡️ you’re clear on your offer
⚡️ you want a brand upgrade
⚡️ you want to DIY with support
This is not for you if:
→ you want hacks or rigid rules
→ you want a static identity
→ you sell weight loss in any way

This is not a Canva skills class per se.
It’s best if you know how Canva generally works, even if you’re a beginner.
That being said, I do talk about features in Canva as relevant. I may also mention and may recommend other design apps that you can use to create or alter your design assets.Occasionally, as relevant, I will offer demos or link to tutorials that I am available to support you with.

Yes! I’m teaching this course on Canva because it tends to be the most common my clients use to create their designs.
If you use any other design program, it’s still fine, the skills will be universal regardless of what design programs you use. -
As long as you have a strong idea of your core offer, messaging, intended audience and know how to move things around in Canva (or whatever program) you use, you’re in the right place.
You don’t need any design skills to come. This course starts with design basics for beginners.
Say hello to your new favorite brand.
