I’m an artist, non-denominational food lover, DIY entrepreneur, avid traveler and air guitarist (who will also play air keys if the band needs it).

As a visual thinker, I literally see what people say.

It’s a skill I’ve honed over the years that helps me turn my clients’ words into compelling, attention-grabbing images.

Since graduating from art school 30 years ago, I’ve been the go-to person for friends and peers needing logos, band t-shirts, CD covers, websites, flyers and everything in between.

So, I didn’t come to brand design through a corporate agency or a marketing firm. Nope, my background is Art.

For me, design is fundamentally about expression and connection—not consumer manipulation. I believe visuals should feel authentic, not like a sleezy sales tactic wearing a cool suit.

My Entrepreneurial Aha Moment!

In the last decade, I’ve been in all kinds of entrepreneurial spaces, working on passion projects that had nothing to do with design. But no matter what I was doing, people kept asking me about my visuals.

“How did you make your website look like that?”
“Can you design a logo for me too?”
“What programs do you use?”

At first, I didn’t think much of it—designing my own stuff was natural. But then I realized: it wasn’t natural for everyone.

In fact, most business owners were not getting any real guidance on how to create visuals that actually worked for them.

Some were hiring designers too soon and outgrowing their branding in a year, or DIY-ing everything without anybody giving them a support framework to help them make decisions.

They weren’t just struggling to keep up with the everyday designs they needed to run their businesses—they were struggling to even start.

That’s when it hit me: I had a skill set that was missing in these spaces. Not because I was born “creative,” but because I had been trained to think visually. And that was something I could teach.

So now I do!

Why I Do This Work

Let’s face it: Even if you can afford to hire a full-time designer, every business owner I know still has to whip up some brand visuals on their own. (And the templates and tools out there don’t always make it easier.)

And for some DIY business owners, it’s not a temporary phase or a stepping stone—it’s a choice. They want the freedom, flexibility, ROI and creative control that comes with being able to shape their own brand without relying on someone else for every little update.

(This is also where my Capsule Wardrobe Method comes in—a mix-and-match system for creating on-brand designs quickly and easily without blank-page panic or second guessing.)

I want your brand visuals to reflect your style, and I want you to feel confident and equipped to create whatever you need for your business—whether you DIY by necessity or by choice.

Because when your brand looks good, you feel good—and that’s when the magic really happens.

I’m so excited to help you feel confident, cool, and totally put-together in your brand.

Together, we’ll take your ideas and turn them into visuals that stand out in the best way.
